Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of Iran's late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, has declared that revenge for his father's death, as well as for all those who lost their lives in the two recent wars, is inevitable.

Addressing the public for the first time after his father's funeral, Iran's new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, stated:

"Let us pledge to avenge your pure blood, as well as the blood of all the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in these two wars. This is the determination of the entire Iranian nation."

He further said that the millions of people who attended his father's funeral represented "a historic display of national unity that shattered the enemy's ambitions."

Mojtaba emphasized that seeking revenge is the demand of the Iranian people and that it will inevitably be carried out.

He also reportedly stated that:

"Those responsible for these crimes will not even have the hope of dying peacefully in their own beds."

According to foreign media reports, he added that whether he or other government officials remain in office or not, the promised revenge will still take place. He further said:

"People around the world who aspire to freedom will soon fulfill their part in this divine mission."

The message was originally issued on July 9 and was released to the public on Saturday (July 10).
