A suspect wanted in connection with the assassination of a lawyer and his wife in Akuregoda has been arrested by security forces in the Maldives.
The suspect was extradited and brought back to Sri Lanka this afternoon (04).
He is accused of providing transportation to the gunmen involved in the incident, said police.
Upon arrival, the suspect was handed over to the Western Province South Crime Division for further investigations.
