A driver attached to the Kundasale Pradeshiya Sabha has been arrested for allegedly aiding and abetting the main suspect linked to the discovery of a woman's body inside a parked vehicle in the Teldeniya area.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in charge of the Nuwara Eliya Division, said that a special police team from the Nuwara Eliya Police travelled to Kundasale and arrested the suspect today (24).
According to the ASP, the main suspect in the murder case is a friend of the arrested driver. He added that the driver was identified and taken into custody through an analysis of the main suspect's phone records.
